BIO

Cindy has spent over 20 years focused on innovation. She is a founding member of a Delaware Innovation Initiative - a think tank and contract laboratory located in the Delaware Valley. She served in multiple leadership roles within DuPont in both technology and marketing. She has led, trained, and mentored diverse teams of scientists, chemists and engineers. For over 12 years, Cindy was Global Innovation leader, accountable for profitable growth through innovation and managing projects in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific across multiple businesses, including Industrial Water, Oil & Gas, Human Health, Animal Health, Biosecurity, Personal Care, H&I, and Electronics.

Part of the 1st wave of DuPont Master Black Belts, Cindy led several revenue growth projects, developed curriculum, trained, mentored Black belts and Green belts, making a significant contribution to the adoption of 6 sigma across the corporation. Her experience has ranged from supervising the quality control laboratory (DuPont Chambers Works site), pilot plant start ups, customer-facing technical service roles, and PACE evaluation of new technologies. She’s most passionate about innovation and making marked improvements in speed of execution and sustainability of results.

Cindy earned her PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Cindy lives with her family in Delaware, where she is a dedicated runner and weight trainer.
